Want some good stages? Here are bunches that you can use, reprint, change or do whatever you want with. If you have a good stage and would like to have it posted here, just email me the stage in a word document format at Stages and I will post it here. So come back often to see if there are any ideas that you can pick up or stages that have been added to this page. All stages listed here are in pdf format. Just click on the one that you want to use or see, download it to your computer or print it out from here. Use as many and change them to fit your use anyway that you want. Some of the PDF files contain graphics and if you are using a dial up connection they make take a few seconds to load and display. What follows is some good ideas to follow when writting stages for annual matchs and above.

Stage Writing Requirements

Here are a few recommendation that should be followed when writing stages for major matches or for the monthly matches. These rules can be waived for "Stages From Hell" and the "Team Shoots."

Follow the SASS™ Match Director's Guide as closely as possible.
Movement should be from left to right if at all possible with no back tracking, IE., from Loading Table to Unloading Table.
There should be no more than 6 (six) steps in each stage, which means movement will be to the next staged firearm, preferably towards the Unloading Table.
When staging weapons, you should move from Loading Table to Unloading Table and not back towards Loading Table.
For major matches only - there will be no reloads.
Physical movements, IE., kneeling and laying down will be kept to a minimum or not used at all.
Saying lines, sitting down, hold an object will all be done prior to the start of the buzzer. This game is about action shooting not acting. Such actions will be used to notify the RO that the shooter is ready.
There will be no movement on the buzzer up the stairs with loaded weapons. Shooter will start and finish without going up or down the stairs. (This can not be waived.)
For the team shoot, there must be two RO's, who will accompany the two shooters for safety. The timer will stay with the first shooter, as that shooter will fire the first and last shoot of each stage.
Last, remember, SAFETY is the first concern and then comes FUN. Our sport can be dangerous so safety must be the overall concern when writing stages. We can have all the fun we want, but safety comes first. So if you write a stage and it gets changed, don't feel bad, remember, SAFETY is first, FUN comes second.

A lot of the stages that are listed below do not follow the rules above, since they were written before the above recommendations. So if you use them, please rewrite them to follow the above recommendations for stage writing. After all this is a fun game, but must be done safely at all times.
